My 2010 Best Dressed List!

My 2010 Best Dressed List
Men and Women (in no particular order)

MEN
Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat wears a suit so well.  His style is classic and effortless.

David Beckham, there's not much I can say.  He and his wife Victoria are style in the flesh.
Actor Zac Efron always looks nice when he hit the "Red Carpet".  Very, very stylish.
Actor, writer, director and all around star Tyler Perry had carved out his own style.  He looks great in every look.

Actor Daniel Craig looks as if he were born to play James Bond.  He looks fabulous on the "Red Carpet".

WOMEN

Actress Jessica Alba looks cute (in most things).  I really like her style.  She's a friend in my head*

Singer Taylor Swift is so cute.  Her look is classic.  I like that she dresse' her age.  Her hair, and makeup always look good, never over done.

Actress Sara Jessica Parker or SJP as I like to call her.  If I could have a big sister in fashion it would be her.  What do you say about the woman who has turned her whole life into a fashion show?  I love her!

The First, Lady Michell Obama.  I had this picture on my desk at work.  I love her style.  She's such an inspiration!

Actress Halley Berry.  The woman can make sweat pants look great.  With a body to die for, and curves in all the right places, this lady can't miss.

I am working hard so that one day I will make your "Best Dressed" lists.

Marc Jacobs Ready to Wear Resort 2011*

I am in love with the up coming RTW line from Marc Jacobs.  These are the clothes that go into the stores, so it's stuff that we can all have (smile).
This look is stunning.  I love the buttons on the jacket.  I also love the attention to detail in the collar.  The color is great, and can be worn all spring/early summer.

I love the dress.  I think it can be worn by just about any skin tone.  I love the strappy shoes, very classic in shape, and can be worn with several different outfits.

The bag, the shoes, the dress, I want it all.  I love the color.  I think it will be hot for the spring.  So classic*

Don't worry about the dress' being too short.  Most of the models are like 6 feet tall, and most of us are not.  I think these dress' will be great for the office.

What I love the most about the line is that these are pierces you can buy, and have them forever.    They are a bit of a throw back to 60's style dress'.  In my opinion some of the best fashion came out of that era.  These dress' will never go out of style.  If you pair any of these looks with a great bag/shoe you will always be in fashion.

Men's Wear Winter 2011

I know I have neglected to write about men fashion.  I'm sorry, I love nothing more than a well dressed man.  I'm constantly trying new looks out on my husband, and for the most part he's cool with it (the perks of having a fashionista for a wife, ha).  OK, so lets get into it.  I have my 3 favorite trends for men for Winter 2011.

Military Coats-
These coats look great with everything from a suit to a great pair of jean.  The muted colors make theses classic coats very modern for the season.

Men's Suits-

I love a man in a great suit.  It appears that the trend for men's suits is moving away from the classic cut, toward a slimmer more military type cut.  The new more modern cut includes a broader shoulder, a slimmer waist, and a slimmer cut pant.

Velvet Dinner Jackets -

To my delight, we are moving into a trend of men looking really nice again.  The Velvet Dinner Jacket, screams luxury.  It makes a good looking man look great!  Such a classic look, and I am glad to see it come back*

By adding some of these things to your wardrobe, guys you will definitely be in style this winter.

Updating your look by adding jewelry*

Hello ladies. I have been doing my online shopping again (I don't think I'm ready to set foot into the mall). Anyway, I noticed that many designers are presenting their looks with more jewelry. Many of these pieces are to die for, and I don't do a lot of jewelry. I personally, live for very simple pieces. A great earring, a nice bracelet, maybe a necklace. However, this season is all about he glam, and adding a statement piece can make the difference in you looking nice, and you looking fabulous.

Choose pieces that you will wear over and over again, with several different looks. Try to pick pieces that will flatter your personal style.

Building your jewelry collection is a lot like building your wardrobe. Buy a little bit of everything until you know what it is that fits you just right.

Tips for Hoilday Evening Glam!

Hey Ladies, its time to get our looks together for all of the great Holiday parties we've been invited to. I have some tips to make that will make your holiday look "POP" :)

Tip 1:

Embrace color. Yes ladies, I much like many of you love black. It looks great, and can be worn to most all events. But for this holiday season, lets think bold. Go with a red dress. They look great!

Tip 2:

If you're not ready for color, you can still glam up your look with sequins! Black or gold sequins will always looks great.

Tip 3:

To add instant glam to your LBD, wear a "Statement" Necklace.

Tip 4:

Try fashion looks from 60's, the 70's or the 80's. Some of these eras have the best fashion. Take the dress to you tailor, and update it. This will insure that no one else will have a dress like yours.

Tip 5:

Red lips are in in!!!! If you do not like traditional lipstick, try lip gloss.

Tip 6:

Pull your evening look together with false eye lashes and a smoky eye. Instant glam! I promise that you will be the best dressed woman at the event!!!!

Happy Holiday's!!!!
